TA meetings
Every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday night from 7-9pm a mathematics graduate student will be available in Kemeny 007 to answer questions about the course material. You can get further explanations about the concepts, or ask for help with specific practice problems. TA meetings are open to all math 13 students. You don't need an appointment.

Homework
Homework will consist of two parts.

1. The first is the most important: under the day-to-day tab you will find a list of odd-numbered questions from Stewart. We will add problems after each lecture. While you will not hand in these problems (they are not graded), you are strongly advised to complete them, and we will assume that you are able to do these exercises. If you get stuck on any one of them you should bring the particular questions to office hours or tutorials. Mastering these exercises is essential preparation for exams! The content of these problems corresponds to what you need to know for the exams.

2. Secondly, each Wednesday at the end of lecture you will hand in a small written assignment. This assignment will be graded and counts towards your final grade. The format will be 3 exam style problems. This weekly assigment will be posted the previous Friday, also under the day-to-day tab.

Honor principle
Collaboration on homework assignments is permitted and encouraged. However, you must write up the solutions to all homework problems yourself. Even if you discuss homework problems with others, you should never simply copy the solution from someone else, but need to formulate and write up the final answer by yourself.

Collaboration on exams of any kind is not permitted.
