## Practice Problems for Exams

Final Exam Monday, December 6, 8:00 – 11:00 am 102 Bradley Hall

 The review session for the Final Exam will take place on Friday, December 3, 7:00 – 9:00 pm in 102 Bradley Hall. The exam covers material from Chapter 1, Sections  1–7, Chapter 2, Sections  1–6, Chapter 3, Sections  1–4, Chapter 5, Sections  1–6, Chapter 6, Sections  1–3, and Chapter 7, Sections  1–3 with emphasize on Chapters 6 and 7. For practice exams click here or here. Please note that these are simply old exams from the previous year that may or may not reflect material that will be covered on the Final Exam. You may well see completely different types of problems on the actual exam. Or may be not. The following problems are suggested for review for the Final Exam. Review problems for the chapters covered in the Midterm Exams are listed in the corresponding sections below. It is not the standard practice exam, so you do not have to be able to solve all these problems in three hours. The final exam will not contain more than 9-11 problems, so if you wish to test your knowledge take random 9-11 problems out of the ones suggested and try to solve them in three hours. Additionally, please review the regular WeBWroK problems and especially the practice problems that were often assigned.. Chapter 6 problems 1, 5, 7, 11, 15, 17 for Section 2 (pp. 398, 399) and problems 1, 3, 9, 11, 13, 15 for Section 3 (pp. 409, 410). Chapter 7 problems 3, 5 (parts b) and c) only), 7, 17, 21 (tough one) for Section 1 (pp. 428 and 429), problems 1, 3, 7, 9, 13, 19 for Section 2 (p. 448) and problems 1, 5, 7, 9 for Section 3 (pp. 464, 465).

Second Midterm Exam Wednesday, November 10, 6:00 – 8:00 pm 101 Bradley Hall

 The review session for the Second Midterm Exam will take place on Monday, November 8, 7:30 – 9:00 pm in 102 Bradley Hall. The exam covers material from Chapter 5, Sections  1–6 and Chapter 6, Section 1. For practice exams click here or here. Please note that these are simply old exams (the former is in fact an hour exam) from the previous year that may or may not reflect material that will be covered on the Second Midterm Exam. You may well see completely different types of problems on the actual exam. Or may be not. The following problems are suggested for review for the First Midterm Exam.
