There will be two "midterm exams" and a cumulative final exam. The exams are scheduled as follows:
|Exam 1||Tuesday, April 24, 4-6 pm||Kemeny 007|
|Exam 2||Tuesday, May 15, 4-6 pm||Kemeny 007|
|Final Exam||Friday, June 1, 11:30 am||Kemeny 008|
The course grade will be based upon the exams and the homework as follows:
|The Honor Principle|
On Exams: No help given or received. Exams are closed book and that no calculators are permitted.
On Homework: You are permitted and encouraged to collaborate with others on the homework. However, after discussing the problems, you should each write up the final solutions in your own words. It is a violation of the honor code for someone to provide the answers for you.
The TA for this course is Ian Adelstein. Tutorial assistance for this course and help with your homework will be available on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 7-9pm in 006 Kemeny Hall.
If you need additional help, there is a study group on Sundays 3:30-5. You can find more information here.
Students with disabilities who will be taking this course and may need disability-related classroom accommodations are encouraged to make an appointment to see their instructor as soon as possible. Also, they should stop by the Academic Skills Center in Collis Center to register for support services.
