|Midterm 1||January 26||4:00-6:00PM||Silsby Room 028|
|Midterm 2||February 18||4:00-6:00PM||Silsby Room 028|
|Final||March 12||3:00-6:00PM||Rockefeller 3|
If you have a legitimate conflict with these exams dates and times, please contact your instructor as soon as possible. Please do not wait until shortly before the exam.
Exams will not be given early to accommodate travel plans.
The homework scores not only count count towards your final grade and allow you to practice and refine your skills but, historically, those students who do the homework sets regularly fair better on the exams.
The course grade will be based upon the scores on the two midterm exams, the final exam, and the homework.
|Midterm 1||100 points|
|Midterm 2||100 points|
|Final Exam||150 points|

Tutorial assistance for this course, that is, help with your homework, will be available in 105 Bradley Hall on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday evening, 7-9PM. Tutorials will begin on Sunday, January 11.
Also note that the Tutor Clearinghouse will have private one-on-one tutors available for Math 14. The tutors are recruited on the basis that they have done well in the subject, and are trained by the Academic Skills Center. If a student receives financial aid, the College will pay for three hours of tutoring per week. If you would like to have a tutor, please go to 301 Collis and fill out an application as early in the term as possible.
Students with disabilities who will be taking this course and may need disability-related classroom accommodations are encouraged to make an appointment to see their instructor as soon as possible. Also, they should stop by the Academic Skills Center in Collis Center to register for support services.
