Make sure you read the general information
section of the web page.
It contains information about due
dates, exam dates, and how the honor principle applies.
We
hold you responsible for knowing the content of that page.

In Math 23 you have a number of responsibilities, the first of which
is being fully aware of the content of the
general
information page.
In particular, that page contains:
Written homework assigments
The weekly written homework assignments will be posted here.
Written homework should be turned in to the homework boxes outside
of Kemeny 008 by 1:40pm on the due date.
Separate your homework for submission into four parts A through D, as indicated after the sections below.
Ensure your full name is written on each part you submit.
Problems are taken from the Ninth Edition of the book. If you have an earlier edition, it is your responsibility to check that you are doing the correct problems.
Make sure that you show all your work and explain all the steps.
A correct answer with no work shown will receive minimal credit.
This is good practice for what will be expected on exams.
Make sure your homework is neatly written; if the graders cannot read it, you will receive zero credit.
We also have some technical requirements: Staple your work, use standardsized paper that does not have
ragged edges from being torn out of a spiral notebook, and do not improvise a multicolumn layout. It is good practice to rewrite solutions neatly once you have completed the assignment; as well as making your work more readable, this helps to catch silly mistakes.
Download a copy of the FERPA waiver, and print it.
By the way, FERPA which stands for the Family Educational Rights and
Privacy Act guarantees the privacy of your academic records. In the
context of graded papers, it means we cannot return them to homework
boxes (since someone else could look at your paper and see your
grade), unless you sign a waiver giving us permission to do so. If
you choose to sign the waiver, please give it to your instructor
during the first week of term. If you do not sign it, you can collect
your homework from your instructor's office by showing your Dartmouth
ID.
