There will be two "hour examinations" and a final examination. The hour exams are scheduled as follows:

If you have any conflict with these dates see your instructor immediately.
The Registrar's Office schedules the final exam, which will occur during the period June 4 - June 8. Exams will not be given early to accommodate travel plans.
Written homework will be assigned daily and will be due before the next class meeting. Missing papers count zero. Moreover, neatness counts; if the grader can't read your paper, you get no credit. Late papers will not be graded.
The course grade will be based upon the scores on the two hour exams, the final exam and thre homework .

On Homework: Collaboration is permitted and encouraged, but NO COPYING . In other words, you should feel free to talk to other students while you are in the process of thinking about a problem. However, when it comes time to write up your solutions, you should do this by yourself without outside assistance.

Tutorials will be held each Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday, 7-9pm in
104 Bradley.Tutorials will begin Tuesday, March 30. This is where to go to get
help with your homework.
