Affine Kazhdan Lusztig polynomials and decomposition numbers
 

Abstract:  I will discuss certain combinatorially defined polynomials,
called affine Kazhdan-Lusztig polynomials, which can be
used to compute important quantities in representation theory.
The talk will dsecribe the representation theoretic quantities,
the recursive definition of the KL polynomials, and an efficient
method for computing the KL polynomials.
