Abstract: I will discuss in general terms some of the classical themes and problems of probability theory. Then I will describe some of the problems on which I worked years ago, and consider whether those results could form a coherent addition to the theory. Warning: There will be no proofs, only a bare mention of techniques, and no recent research results in this talk.
This talk will be accessible to undergraduates.
