In addition to Pedersens Analysis Now, you can find the following books at the reserve desk in Baker Library:

Homework Assignments:

  1. Due Monday, January 22nd: assignment one.  Solutions available now.  (Just click on the assignment again.)
  2. Obviously, you should be reading along in the text.  You should also have had a look at sections 1.1 through 1.6. 
  3. Optional assignment on nets.  Please don't turn this one in, but do feel free to come by with questions or to show me your solutions (if you're not confident in them): optional assignment.
  4. Due Monday, February 5th: assignment two.  Solutions available now.  (Just click on the assignment again.)  Page updated last on 2/13/2007.
  5. Due Wednesday, February 16th: assignment three.
  6. Due Wednesday, February 28th: assignment four.  Please get started early.  Obviously, you may want to wait until we have finished section 3.1 before working on the problems concerning Hilbert space.
  7. THE LAST ASSIGNMENT: Due on or before Friday, March 9th: last assignment.
