Vector Calculus (5th edition) by Marsden & Tromba, Wiley. The hardbound version is available at Wheelock Books for $108.56.

Homework Policy

Grades

The course grade will be based upon the scores on the two midterm exams, the final exam, and the homework.

Midterm 1 100 points
Midterm 2 100 points
Final Exam 200 points
Written assignments

Total 450 points

On Homework: Collaboration is permitted and encouraged, but NO COPYING. On the other hand discussions of the general ideas of the problems is desirable.

Tutorials

Ms. Paige Rinker and Mr. Amir Barghi are the tutors for this course, tutorials meet Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday from 7 to 9pm in Kemeny 006. Tutors may be also be made available for Math 13 through the Tutor Clearinghouse. If you would like to have personal tutor, please go to 301 Collis and fill out an application as early in the term as possible. There may be a waiting list.
