Schedule and Homework Assignments
Math 28, Winter 2008


This is subject to change, though hopefully only minor adjustments.

There are three kinds of assignments made daily:

Note that reading assignments and practice problems are always for the following class period unless otherwise noted. Graded problems are assigned daily but collected weekly; in general, assignments made Monday are due Friday of that week and assignments made Wednesday or Friday are due Friday of the following week.

The occasional extra credit assignments are exactly that, extra. They are optional, and if more than one is listed, you may do any subset of them. They should be submitted with homework and will be graded using the same standards.

Many of these problems are computational, but for those that are not you may want to review my tips on writing proofs.
