  • In the first-day lecture, we briefly reviewed basic probability, particularly focusing on conditional probability and Bayes’ theorem. This lecture does not have a corresponding section in the textbook.

  • Except for the first lecture, all the other lectures will follow your textbook. Please check the lecture plans for the sections of your textbook corresponding to each lecture. Please read these sections before each lecture.

  • A tentative plan for the midterm test is Wednesday, Feb 10. I will discuss the test in the next lecture.
