Readings in mathematics
& humanities,

a growing collection of literary resources online

Most of the MATC courses combining mathematics and the humanities did not rely on traditional texts, but rather used course readers compiled from a variety of sources. We are in the process of scanning these and obtaining permissions to put them online for reference purposes. If you wish to use any of these readings for your own courses you must take them to a service that will obtain copyright permissions for duplication. If you do not have a local service we recommend Wheelock Books. At the moment the following readers are available online:

As the World Turned,
a reader on the Copernican revolution,
annotated by Scott Sciortino

Infinity,
a reader on the mathematical and philosophical development of a concept,
compiled by Marcia Groszek
