"It is 95% give, and 95% take."— Sioux Hall Sensei quoting Mitsunari Kanai Sensei

About me

I am a postdoc at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in Bonn.

Previously, I was at the Hausdorff Institute for Mathematics for a Junior Trimester program. I completed my PhD in June 2023 at Dartmouth College, under the supervision of Asher Auel.

My research is focused on Brill—Noether theory, vector bundles and linear systems on K3 surfaces, and cubic fourfolds; most recently on the Brill—Noether stratification of $\mathcal{M}_g$ and unstable Lazarsfeld—Mukai bundles associated to Brill—Noether special linear systems on curves.

In my previous life as a physical chemist, I received my BA/MA from Brandeis University, with Bing Xu.
