Comment: | Would it be possible for more examples like the problems in the homework to be done in class? While the material covered in class is helpful, often times some of the homework problems are a bit foreign... Thanks! |

Comment: | Question about ex. 11 on pg 701 f(x,Y)= x. What would the y coordinates be in the sketch. I am guessing that z is always = x as stated by the function..but I am not sure if y is always 0 because it does not appear in the function. |

Comment: | I don't have solutions available for the supplemental problems. Just as with the even numbered problems in the book, you should be able to get the correct answers using Maple or by asking me (in office hours) or at the tutorial. |

Comment: | The answers to the practice exam were posted Sunday evening. I as sorry for the delay. Also, since someone asked, you will *not* be allowed to use calculators, notes or books during any exam this term. |

Comment: | A lot of us were wondering that since the Math 8 course last term was allowed to have a sheet of paper to use for reference for their exams, is the same applicable for us? |

Comment: | I have to admit that I didn't take the date of the super bowl into account when scheduling the exam. If the NFL didn't insist on two weeks of pre-game hype, it wouldn't be a problem. Sigh. |

Comment: | Agreed. The day after the Super Bowl might be the single worst day of the year on which to have an exam. |

I have in mind that students can ask questions for other students to answer, or to make comments to me or to the class in general. I will monitor the page from time to time. Please don't address specific homework question to me here. See me in my office hours or stop by the tutorial.
