Spring Lunch Series!
Bring your own lunch to Kemeny 100C (Walk through Kemeny Undergraduate Lounge - it's in the back next to the
vending machines) between your x-hours, 12:30 - 1:30 PM, and come get to know people of the Math Department!
You don't have to be a woman in math to attend. The lunches will be a great opportunity to interact in a
casual setting outside the classroom.

This exciting speaker was profiled in a 2008 Scientific American article, "Blazing a Trail for Women in Math:

Back by popular demand, Sarah Greenwald
comes to us from Appalachian State University. She'll give a talk
open to the entire campus at 6:30pm in Cook Auditorium (Thayer School of Engineering)
about the Simpsons in mathematics (pizza provided!), and we hope to have a
more intimate gathering with the AWM chapter at lunch from 12:30-1:30pm.

the 2009 Kemeny Lecture for undergraduates, Wednesday, April 22nd at 7pm (more information can be found

chance to meet with this exciting speaker over Lou's to discuss both her work in mathematics and her
