The Eighth Annual
East Coast Operator Algebras Symposium
October 23 and 24, 2010
Dartmouth College, Hanover, New Hampshire
Dartmouth College is located in Hanover, New Hampshire. Hanover is 130 miles Northwest of Boston, Massacusetts. A common way to travel to Hanover is to fly into Boston's Logan Airport (BOS), and then take a bus service called the Dartmouth Coach (see the link below for detailed information) to Hanover. The bus leaves from just outside baggage claim and terminates in Hanover. Although reservations are not needed, tickets may be purchaced online or on the bus, and there is a discount for a round trip ticket. Obviously, you should make sure your flight arrangements are compatible with the Dartmouth Coach's schedule. If your flight arrangements are not compatible with the Bus schedule, then you can fly into either Boston or Manchester (MHT) and rent a car. Technically, Hanover is also served by a local airport in Lebanon, NH (LEB). Currently, the airport in Lebanon is served only by one small commuter airline (Cape Air) and while cab fare from Lebanon to Hanover is not expensive, their are sometimes significant wait times for a cab. Driving directions and more information about alternative airports can be found in the Directions link below.
All talks will be held in 008 Kemeny Hall located at 27 North Main Street. On Saturday and Sunday parking will be available in the Maynard Lot.
