All course materials and assignments will be managed through Canvas.
Written homework (HW) is assigned weekly and posted on Canvas.
In total, there will be 8 homework assignments.
Every assignment will consist of 3 or 4 problems.
You, the students, are supposed to work on and submit the HW assignments in teams of 3 or 4 persons.
The HW assignments will be uploaded on Canvas on Tuesdays and have to be submitted until Tuesday, one week later, at 16:30.
Late submissions are either penalized by deduction of 50% of the total number of possible points (if submitted beforeWednesday 10:00) or not accepted (if submitted afterWednesday 10:00).
HWs and their solutions are discussed, and presented by students, on Wednesdays during the "Homework discussion" (see above).
Credit for attendance/participation is based on how many of your solutions you present during the term.
You respectively get no credit, half credit, and full credit if you present no, one, and at least two of your solutions during the term.
(This scheme might change depending on the number of students in the course.)
