Grading and Course Structure

Grading:

  • Attendance/Participation: 10%
  • Written Homework: 30%
  • Midterm Exam: 30%
  • Final Exam: 30%

Course Structure:

  • All course materials and assignments will be managed through Canvas.
  • Written homework (HW) is assigned weekly and posted on Canvas. Every assignment will consist of 3 or 4 problems.
  • You, the students, are supposed to work on and submit the HW assignments in teams of 3 or 4 people.
  • The HW assignments will be uploaded on Canvas.
  • HWs and their solutions are discussed, and presented by students, on Fridayss during the "Homework discussion" (see above). Credit for attendance/participation is based on how many of your solutions you present during the term.
