Announcements:

• Make sure you read the general information section of the web page; it contains information about due dates, exam dates, and how the honor principle applies. We hold you responsible for knowing the content of that page.
• The solutions to the first and second midterm exams have been posted in the assignments page.
• The final exam is scheduled for Saturday, 6/1, from 11:30 to 2:30 in Silsby 028. The material includes all the sections from Chapters 15 and 16 that we have covered. There will be an emphasis on the sections not covered by the midterm exams.

You will be held responsible for knowing all the content of the general information page.
In particular, that page contains important information about due dates for assignments as well as how the honor code applies in this course.

Written homework assigments

The weekly written homework assignments will be posted here.

• Homework should be turned in before the beginning of class on the due date to the homework boxes outside of Kemeny 108.
  As explained on the written assignment, write ups for problems 1-3 need to be separate from write ups for problems 4-6.
  Your write ups for 1-3 go into the left-most slot in the homework boxes; the other in the 'middle' box. Returned homework will be in the rightmost box.
• Make sure that you show all your work and explain all the steps.
  A correct answer with no work shown will receive minimal credit.
• Make sure your homework is neatly written; if the graders cannot read it, you will receive zero credit.
• Attached to the first homework there will be a FERPA waiver. If you sign and return it to your instructor, you will be able to collect your homework from the boxes in the hallway near Kemeny 108. If you do not sign it, you can collect your homework from your instructor's office by showing your Dartmouth ID.
