**Announcements:**

- Reading period office hours, Thursday and Friday, 10:00-11:30 and 1:30-3:00.
- As of the evening of Tuesday, March 7, all special homework that has been turned in has been graded. Check Canvas to be sure your grades have been recorded. If there is no grade, this indicates that you turned in the original assignment but must still rewrite it. After the date of our final quiz, any remaining missing grades will be replaced with 0's. When all regular homework has been graded, I will post an announcement; in the meantime, let me know about any missing or incorrect regular homework grades (not including the last week's assignment).
- The take-home final exam is now available on the Math 24 Canvas page. Recall that we also have a final quiz on Tuesday, March 14, during our scheduled final exam period. This will be about equivalent to two x-hour quizzes. It is cumulative, but concentrates on recent material.
- The last Math 24 tutorial will be Thursday, March 9.
- End-of-term deadlines: The last day to submit late regular written homework is Wednesday, March 8, the last day of class. The last day to submit late or rewritten special homework is Tuesday, March 14, the day of our final quiz. The due date for the take-home final is also Tuesday, March 14.
- Office hours Monday, 2/27, have been changed to 3:30-4:30.
- The final exam schedule has now been posted. Our last quiz will be during our final exam period, 8 AM, Tuesday, March 14, in 105 Kemeny.
- The fifth and last special homework assignment, due Monday, February 27, has been posted on the Documents page.
- The fourth special homework assignment, due Monday, February 20, has been posted on the Documents page.
- The Canvas grade book has been updated. A 0 for a special assignment indicates that it has not been turned in; a missing grade indicates that I am waiting for a rewrite. Let me know if there is any discrepancy between recorded grades and grades on returned papers you have.
- The second midterm exam is now available on the Math 24 Canvas page.
- The third special homework assignment, due Monday, February 6, has been posted on the Documents page.
- The second special homework assignment, due Monday, January 30, has been posted on the Documents page.
- The first midterm exam is now available on the Math 24 Canvas page.
- The general information page has new homework policy information. (This is not a change, just a further explanation.)
- For all those who asked: On the Documents page is a link to a handout by Prof. Knill at Harvard, mentioning a number of applications of linear algebra.
- The first special homework assignment, due Wednesday, January 18, has been posted on the Documents page.
- On the Documents page, you can find a link to the handout on proofs we worked through in the x-hour on January 5.
- If you have not yet received your Math 24 textbook, you can find a copy of the first chapter on the Math 24 Canvas page.

On this page you will find links to various things that have been handed out in class, notes, and so forth.

Here is the questionnaire due in class on Friday, January 6. If you didn't turn it in then, please turn it in as soon as possible.

Here is the handout on writing proofs, distributed during the optional x-hour on Thursday, January 5.

Here are some examples of questions that could be asked on an x-hour quiz. Remember, the first x-hour quiz is January 12.

Curious about applications of linear algebra?
*Here*
