Your assignment for Thursday Oct. 4 is to read "The Stone Lions". You will notice that the email address of the author is provided on the title page of the text. This book is a rough draft and is being rewritten now. You will be doing an illustration to accompany a specific page of the text over the weekend, but for now your homework is to read the text and answer the following questions. Please send your answers to the author at her email address, and print them out to give me on Thursday.
- 1. Are there any errors in the symmetry classes of the diagrams provided? In other words, are the pictures correct?
- 2. Are there places where the description of the math is confusing? Where and why?
- 3. Please include any other comments you wish to make to the author. She is particularly interested in knowing if characters are flatly drawn, etc. As I say, she is in the process of rewriting now and desires input (in return for letting us use her text!).
