Review sessions will be held in class on midterm days instead of the usual quiz.

The emphasis in this class is on learning the material. At the end, the instructors hope that you will be able to answer every question they deem important enough to put on an exam. Thus, after each midterm has been graded, students will have the option to take the exam home and re-work the problems they missed for 25% of the credit. This means, if you receive a 70% on the midterm in class, you may raise your grade as high as 77.5%. When you re-work the problems at home you are allowed to use your book or talk to other students about the problems but you are on your honor not to write up any solutions that you do not fully understand.
