Exam Notes

The Final Exam is scheduled for Saturday, March 11, 3:00-6:00pm in Bradley 101. Please contact your instructor at least a week in advance if you will not be able to take the exam at the scheduled time.
You will be allowed to bring a 3"x5" notecard to the final exam -- details regarding what kind of information you can put on this card will be given on the practice exam. You can also find information on the exam and your instructor's office hours for the week of March 5-11 on the practice exam. You may find this Integration Review sheet helpful. You may also find the handouts on Improper Integrals and Facts about Trigonometric Functions helpful.
The second Midterm is scheduled for Thursday, February 16, 6:30-8:30pm in Silsby 028. Please contact your instructor in advance if you will not be able to take the exam at the scheduled time.
The first Midterm is scheduled for Thursday, January 26, 6:30-8:30pm in Silsby 028. Please contact your instructor in advance if you will not be able to take the exam at the scheduled time.

Each problem on a quiz will count 4 points. In the event that a problem has more than one part, the parts will be scaled equally. Points will be assigned as follows:

Points	Meaning
0	No work has been done or no cohenent explanation was given.
1	There appears to be some reasobable attempt at solving the problem.
2	Either the solution is partly correct, with significant error or omission, or the solution is correct but the explanation is somewhat unclear or incomplete.
3	The solution is correct, with at most very minor errors or omissions (for example: a sign error or leaving off a "+C" when evaluating an antiderivative). The explanation is reasonably clear and complete.
4	The problem and the solution are explained thoroughly, clearly and completely. It is easy to read and understand the solution. The solution is both correct and complete.
