Due Tuesday, Nov. 20
This assignment is strictly for fun. On Tuesday, Nov 20 we will meet at the front desk of the Hood Museum of Art. At that time, I will collect your folded shiboris to take home and dye. Here are some directions:
- 1. The cloth MUST be accordion pleated two directions. If you roll it round itself it will not take dye properly.
- 2. Use a permanent marker to put your name and the label of the symmetry group you think you will get on one corner of the cloth. This is the only way I can be sure you get yours back after dying.
- 3. Tie it really tightly. I have to transport it home and dye it and it should not come apart.
