Kaelen Baird is a Ph.D. student in Mathematics at Dartmouth College, specializing in applied mathematics, data assimilation, and computational inverse problems. His research explores the intersection of mathematical modeling and real-world applications, including medical imaging and complex evolving systems in the life sciences. Before Dartmouth, he gained experience in data science and machine learning through internships and an NSF REU, where he developed models for radiotherapy imaging and natural language processing models.
